Born nearly a century ago, Galen is the offspring of a powerful U. S. Senator and a wealthy Washington socialite. A scion of the political center of the nation, he eschewed the trappings of impending fame and fortune to instead blaze his own trail through life as we know it. And blaze he has! He has authored several books and scientific papers on particle physics and quantum mechanics, and is widely regarded in the scientific community for his "Big Blow" theory on the creation of the universe, likening it to "God sneezing". In addition, he pioneered the now common surgical techniques used in emergency scrotum replacement surgery. Somehow or another he still managed to study music, becoming an accomplished bassist, guitarist, and keyboardist. Following brief stints with several minor municipal orchestras across the country, he decided the future of music was rock and roll. He found out he had a natural voice for rock and discovered the bass to be the ideal expressive vehicle for his creativity. With a multi-decade resume' of bands in his wake, he happened upon an ad in the local alternative paper seeking a "Bass player, vocals a plus". He answered, and a band was born!
