It wasn't easy coming up with a name!  We threw out dozens of possibilities until "gig-time" was looming and we had to have a name.  Steve had brought in the name, , with about a hundred other suggestions and it made it to the final cut, where it was selected by consensus over nine other choices.  We can't remember the other names so don't ask.  In retrospect, it shouldn't have been so difficult but these things usually are!  In colloquial Urban American slang, the term, , refers to "fortified" wine (think Thunderbird and MD 20-20).  We don't really like that stuff, but, because we primarily express ourselves musically in bars and nightclubs around the Kansas City area, we thought it would be a good idea to design a drink that represents our "Band Personality"!  Low and behold, a web search turned up not one, but TWO drinks called !  One of them was very close to the band's "Rocket Fuel" of choice so we decided to post the recipe and some variants of this cocktail so when you go to a club to see us you can get right into the "Band Frame of Mind" as it were.  Following are a couple of variations of a cocktail called .  We hope you like them!

Standard Recipe
1 1/2 oz.  Kahlua
1 1/2 oz. Rye Whiskey (or any whiskey)
3 oz. Milk or Light Cream (or half and half)
Pour ingredients (liquor first) over ice and stir slightly.

Chris Variant 1 oz.  Kahlua 1  oz. Vodka 1 oz. Brandy 3 oz. Milk or Light Cream (or half and half) Pour ingredients (liquor first) over ice and stir slightly.	Steve Variant 2 oz. Kahlua 1 oz. Vodka 3 oz. Milk or Light Cream (or half and half) Pour ingredients (liquor first) over ice and stir slightly.
Jamey Variant 2 oz. Kahlua 1 oz. Cognac (or Brandy) 3 oz. Milk or Light Cream (or half and half) Pour ingredients (liquor first) over ice and stir slightly.	Galen Variant (Not for the Faint of Heart!) 1 oz. Kahlua 2 oz. Tequila (Gold preferred) Forget the milk! Pour ingredients (liquor only) over ice and drink it.
